Reimer - I am looking for information on REIMER, Christina, b. c. 1856, near Rendsburg, Schleswig-Holstien, Ger. Came to Scott County, Iowa, in 1873. Maiden name, LUETJE. Married August REIMER in Davenport, IA, 15 Oct 1878. They moved to Manning, IA, 1888 and lived there the rest of their lives. Children: John, b 1879; Minnie, b. 26 Jan 1881; Laura Helene, b. 10 Jan 1887. August d. 24 Aug 1935 at Manning and is bur. in the Manning Cemetery. Looking for death date of Christina, possibly between 1938-1941. Minnie married John FRAHM in Manning; I have no further information. Laura married Herman VOGT in Manning; I have no further information. Would like to correspond with anyone with knowledge of this family. Christina was a sister to my GGGrandfather, Peter LUETJE.
