Hi, I am reading my great grandmothers scrapbook and there is a Conway mentioned. One Conway was the Marshall of Carroll in the early 1920's, and his son was a deputy Marshall during the same time. On May 21, 1921, his son John F. Conway was shot and killed while trying to arrest a suspected forger. My great grandfather was with him patrolling the other side of the street. A very interesting story. Please contact me if you'd like any more info
