Carroll County and St. Lucas, Iowa Connection

BAYER, SCHULTES, GRUBER, WURZER, GRETEMAN, BALK, KERPER

In doing some research, I discovered the above to have settled temporarily in St. Lucas, Fayette County, Iowa. All names are drawn from the St. Mary's of Willey Centennial Book. Has anyone noted a connection between St. Lucas and other parishes in the county? I am close to Fayette County these days...anyone have leads for me to research?
