Searching for a family named SMITH believe fathers name ROY mothers name could be ELLA they had 13 children oldest born 1891 St. Joesph,Missouri area came to Iowa and settled some place close to Carroll county. By 1912 Oldest Child FRANK L SMITH was in Carroll County and by 1914 had married a young lady from Ralston Iowa. Frank worked many jobs before settling in RALSTON and working for soy bean plant there until a few months before his death 1959. Do the Smith names of Gertrude,John, Ed, Gordon Charles and Frank ring anybells?
