Seeking Berry Information

I am seeking information on my great grandfather, Harrison Berry, and his first wife. Harrison appeared in the 1880 federal census in Glidden, Carroll, Iowa. He was 26 years old and widowed, and living with his two children Freddie, 6, and Rosa, 4. Family folklore says his wife died when a tree fell on her and their baby (this would have occured about 1878, but I have never been able to substantiate this. What was her name? Who were Harrison's parents? Would appreciate your help.
