The body of a sister of John, Henry and Charles Loschen, and Mrs. John Ford was removed this week to Westlawn cemetery from a grave in the middle of Gerit Eilts' field where it has reposed for 39 years. This sister came here with the Loeschen family in the spring of 1869 and died the same fall. Owing to the incessant rains of that year it was not possible to reach a cemetery and hence the burial near the residence. But at last loving hands came to move the mortal remains of the long deceased but not forgotten sister from their lonely sepulchre to a grave in beautiful Westlawn. L. Short, G. Katan, John Ford and Henry Loeschen performed this service.
