Funeral services for Catherine Caroline Brunnier, 87, were held on Monday morning, Dec. 13 at 11:00 at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, with Pastor Edward Heinicke of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Daughter of Martin J. M. and Caroline Meyer Brunnier, she was born May 10, 1884, on a farm four miles north of Manning. She moved to Manning with her parents in 1887, and worked as a clerk in Manning business houses.

Her father died in December, 1912, and her mother in November, 1936. One brother died in infancy in 1886.

Miss Brunnier moved to the Florence Home for the Aged on June 9, 1942, and had lived there since. She died there on Friday afternoon, Dec. 10.

Her only other immediate relative, a brother, Henry J. “Bru” Brunnier, 89, of San Francisco died at his desk forty minutes before Miss Brunnier passed away.

She has no immediate survivors.

A member of Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, she transferred her membership to Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Omaha.
