A funeral service for Myrle Lee Gumaer of Carroll was held this morning, Monday, March 20, 2000, at Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Mrs. Gumaer, 89, died on Saturday, March 18, 2000, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll following a brief illness. Pastor Rick Hamilton of Grace Baptist Church officiated the service. Burial will be at a Florida location.

A daughter of Tom and Laura (Redding) Passmore, she was born on Oct. 16, 1910, at Valdosta, Ga. She and Bert Gumaer were united in marriage. Mrs. Gumaer was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Richter and her husband, Robert of Sebastian, Fla.; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Gumaer was preceded in death by he parents; her husband Bert, in 1992; a son; a daughter; two brothers; and six sisters.
