A funeral service for Verna Brady Carstens of Manilla will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manilla. Miss Carstens, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997, at Manning Regional Healthcare Center. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Manning. Friends called after 5 this afternoon at Ohde Funeral Home in Manilla. Miss Carstens is survived by a sister, Alma Vollmer, of Manning; a brother-in-law, Junior Carstens and his wife Pat, of Manilla; and three sisters-in-law: Lucille Carstens of Manilla, Ruth Hiatt of Manning and Alice Buckles of Brea, Calif.
