ARCADIA - Mrs. Anna B. Dentlinger, 69, of Arcadia, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll following a short illness.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Church here by the Rev. C. A. Ahmann. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll after 7 p.m. Monday. The Christian Mothers Sodality will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Monday. Other recitations are scheduled for 8:45 p.m. Monday and 3, 8 and 8:45 Tuesday.

Mrs. Dentlinger was born at Arcadia May 5, 1900, a daughter of Anton and Elizabeth Kohorst Hoelscher. She received her education at Arcadia and on Jan. 31, 1922, was married in St. John's Church there to Joseph J. Dentlinger, with the Rev. Fr. Berger officiating at the wedding. The couple farmed near Arcadia until moving into town in September, 1953. She was a member of St. John's Church and the Christian Mothers Sodality.

Survivors include the following children: Lawrence and Elmer, Arcadia; Aloyslus, Westside; Mrs. Everett (Martha) Daniel, Lidderdale; Mrs. Elmer (Clara) Friedman and Mrs. Robert (Joan) Badding, Carroll; and Mrs. Andrew (Ruth) Schreck, Dedham; also 49 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a brother, Henry Hoelscher of Manning; and a sister, Mrs. John Olberding, Carroll.

Preceding Mrs. Dentlinger in death were her husband in April, 1961; a daughter, Mary; three brothers and two sisters.
