MANNING - Funeral arrangements for Paul J. Kasperbauer Sr., 85, of Manning have been completed at the Ohde Funeral Home here. Mr. Kasperbauer died Jan. 31 at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll.

Requiem mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Norbert Weber at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, Manning. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, including James Venteicher, Paul H. Kasperbauer, Ronald Vogl, Felix Vogl, Jr., Donald Irlbeck and Edward Irlbeck Jr. There will be a rosary recitation at 7:30 and Bible service at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kasperbauer was born Jan. 10, 1885, at Auerbach Rumanfelden, Bayern, Germany. As a boy he came to the United States with his parents, F. X. and Frances Pepper Kasperbauer, and settled near Roselle. He attended schools at Roselle and Templeton. On April 26, 1910, he was married to Catherin Hacker. They farmed near Dedham for seven years, near Manning for ten years and then south of Templeton for 21 years until retiring and moving into Manning in 1948.

Surviving with his wife are five children, Frank and Paul A., Templeton; Mrs. Ed (Catherine) Irlbeck, Dedham; Mrs. Ed (Loretta) Venteicher and Mrs. Felix (Hilda) Vogl, Manning; 39 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Herman of Dedham, John, Manning, and Fred, Carroll; and a sister, Mrs. Michael (Eleanor) Hayes, who lives in Nebraska.

Mr. Kasperbauer was preceded in death by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Frank (Frances) Sturm; and five brothers, Rupert, B. J., Frank, Sylvester and Joseph.
