Death of a Veteran

Andrew Aarons, born near Hamburg, Germany, February 24, 1836, died at Glidden of pneumonia. He enlisted in the Tenth Iowa, Company B., August, 1861; wounded in knee at Corinth, sent to the hopital, and discharged at Keokuk October 15, 1862, on account of his wound. Deceased leaves a wife and nine children. He had been receiving a pension of $12 per month.
