May 12, 1910 - Carroll Times - On May 1st there passed away at the home of her daughter here, Mrs. James Carroll, one of the pioneer settlers of the county when Mrs. Bridget 0'Gorman answered the last roll call. She was nearly ninety years of age and the cause of her death was the natural decline of her system.

She was born in County Clair, Ireland on November 23, 1821. She came to America in the year 1848. She was married to Patrick O'Gorman in 1856 and to this union four children all of whom are still living as follows: Mrs. James Carroll of Carroll, John O'Gorman of Missiouri Valley, Tom O'Gorman of Homer, Nebraska, and Mike O'Gorman of Onawa, Iowa.

They were all present at the funeral of their mother. In the past few years, on account of her advanced age, she had been failing but she retained her brightness and patience until the last. The sympathy of a host of friends is with the bereaved in their sorrow.
