Funeral services were held Tues-
day morning at 8:30 for John
Martes, a former resident of Exira,
at the St. Peters church in Carroll.
People from Exira who attended
were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kommes,
Mrs. Anna Williams, Miss Mary
Williams, Miss Mae Dewey, Mr.
and Mrs. Glen Neal and sons, Mrs.
Pete Kommes and son John and
Barney Doffing.

Note: Parents were Nicholas "Nick" Martes and Elizabeth Schmidt.
