Nov 12, 1896 - Carroll Sentinel - Horace Hoover was buried yesterday afternoon from the home of his sister, Mrs. A.L. Wright. The neighbors and a few immediate friends were present and listened to a few remarks and prayer by Rev. Thompson. A quartette furnished some beautiful hymns and the services were concluded at the grave. The pall bearers were W.A. McLagan, Wm. Lynch, D.H. Park, W.E. Guild, Wm. Trowbridge, and W.L. Culbertson.
