May 7, 1937 - Carroll Daily - Funeral services for Paul S. Miner of Cedar Falls, who passed away suddenly Thursday morning, will be held at the Huffman Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in the Carroll cemetery. A short service was conducted at the family home in Cedar Falls this afternoon before the funeral cortege started for Carroll. Friends may view the body at the Huffman Funeral home this evening.

John L. Miner, jr., and George Pfiester, who left for Cedar Falls immediately upon receiving word of Mr. Miner's illness, are accompanying Mrs. Miner and sons to Carroll. Mrs. V.F. Farmer of Story City, a sister of Mrs. Miner, is also accompanying them. Dr. and Mrs. W.E. Nye of Onawa, the latter a sister of Mrs. Miner, will arrive here this evening.

May 8, 1937 - Carroll Daily - Funeral services for Paul S. Miner of Cedar Falls were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Huffman Funeral home. The Rev. William R. Yingling, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated. Frederick Feldman, a senior at Iowa State Teachers college, who is a close friend of George Willard and Paul Lincoln Miner, sons of the deceased, played a piano prelude and postlude at the services. Stanley Reeves of Cedar Falls, another college student, also accompanied Mrs. Miner and sons here. Burial was in the Carroll cemetery and pallbearers were Frank W. Seyller, Ernest L. Hall, E.J. Broderick, Walter O'Connor, Frank Wille, and Henry J. Conway.
