Jan 15, 1920 - Carroll Times - Mrs. John Osborne, whose death was mentioned in the last issue of The Times was Miss Elizabeth Simons, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, before her marriage to Mr. Osborne, November 24, 1911. For the past three years the family have been living at Wrentham, Alberta, Canada, where Mr. Osborne has extensive farming interests.

In early October Mrs. Osborne took quite sick but got over her trouble and was feeling well for some weeks when she was again taken critically sick. Because of her condition the family returned to Carroll, going immediately to the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Pierce. On New Year's day Mrs. Osborne suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she died Wednesday, January 7th. The funeral was held in the Methodist church Friday afternoon, Rev. R. Burton Sheppard officiating. Besides her husband she is survived by her two step-sons, Lyle and Glenard.
