March 22, 1923 - Carroll Times - Amy Elizabeth Unger, 13 years old, died at the St. Anthony hospital Monday of acute nephritis following an attack of tonsilitis that occurred in November. She was the daughter of J. William Unger, of this city and was born in Coon Rapids April 11, 1910.

She was an attractive little girl and was well liked by her schoolmates and instructors. She united with the Methodist church in St. James, Minn., in 1920. Her mother died in Sioux City February 5, 1920. Mr. Unger and family moved to Carroll in October 1920. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ellas Handy in the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was made in the Carroll cemetery.
