July 17, 1924 - Carroll Times - Mrs. Louise Boji, widow of Chris Boji, Sr., deceased, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Kurth, Monday morning after being in poor health for four years suffering with heart trouble, and complications. For the last six months she had been unable to be about the house but had lately been improving slightly and was able to sit up for a short time. Her death Monday morning was very sudden and unexpected.

Mrs. Boji was Miss Louise Fetzer before her marriage. She was born in Germany March 25, 1856. Losng her parents by death at an early age she came to America as a young girl of fifteen, locating in this country with her sisters. They settled at Rockport, Illinois, where she was married at the age of eighteen, March 4, 1886 to Chris Boji. Mr. and Mrs. Boji located on a farm in Sheridan township which was their home until 1907 when they moved to their residence on North West street this city. Mr. Boji died in Carroll December 14, 1914. Four years ago Mrs. Boji's health beginning to fail, she gave up her home and has since made her home with her daughter.

Mrs. Boji was a splendid woman, the mother of an excellent family of children. She was a devout member of the Lutheran church and while livng in Carroll was affiliated with the Ladies Aid society of the church in this city.

One son, Chris Boji, died suddenly March 29, 1924 from the accidental discharge of a gun. The death of this young man bore heavily on the health of his devoted mother.

The surviving children are Frank, Harry and Albert, and one daughter, Anna (Mrs. William Kurth). Funeral services will be held in the Lutheran church in Lidderdale this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Carroll cemetery.
