Nov 19, 1952 - Carroll Daily Times - Miss Elizabeth Miller, 88, died early Tuesday afternoon at the Spieker Nursing home. She had been ill for the last 10 months, having been taken to the nursing home after being a patient in St. Anthony Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Huffman Funeral Home, where the body is resting until the time of the rites. The Rev. C. Hugo Orf, minister of the Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Carroll cemetery.

Miss Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, was born Oct. 13, 1864, in Illinois. In 1882 she came to Arcadia with her parents. Forty years ago she moved from Arcadia to Carroll, where she maintained her home on North West street until she became ill. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

One brother, John Miller, of Santa Ana, Calif., survives. Another brother, Henry Miller of Carroll, and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Fey of Scranton and Mrs. Mary Fey of Santa Ana, Calif., preceded her in death.
