July 20, 1987 - Carroll Daily Times - Lake City - Services for Doris Lasher, 77, of Lake City, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Wood lawn Christian Church, Lake City, with the Rev. Ray Hill officiating. Burial will be in East Liberty Cemetery, rural Lidderdale. Visitation is after 3:30 p.m. today at the Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City.

Mrs. Lasher died Saturday, July 18, at Shady Oaks Nursing Home, Lake City. Born March 16, 1910, in Greene County, she was a daughter of Wesley and Nellie (Summers) Pollock. On March 16, 1929, she was married to Earl Lasher in Greene County. They farmed in the Lake City area before moving into Lake City in 1965. Her husband died about two weeks ago.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Willis (Janene) Shuey of Leadville, Colo., and Mrs. Roger (Marlene) Glasnapp of Lytton; a son, Lonnie Lasher of Lake City; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Florence McCain of Manteca, Calif.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, three brothers, and three sisters.
