July 16 1964 - Carroll Daily Times - Lake City — Arthur Dewey, 71, Lake City, died Wednesday afternoon, July 15, at McVay Memorial Hospital here after suffering a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Huffman Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Dewey was born in Calhoun County Feb. 12, 1893, son of John and Mary Clark Dewey. He served in the United States Army in France during World War I and was disabled. He had lived in Lake City for 20 years and was a member of the local V.F.W. post.

Survivors include three brothers, Albert Dewey, Boise Idaho; Joseph and John Dewey Portland, Ore.; one sister-in-law Mrs. Matilda Dewey, Lanesboro; and several nieces and nephews. One brother, Alfred, preceded him in death.
