Dec 29, 1949 - Carroll Daily Times - Plans were being made today for funeral services for Alfred Dewey, 6l, of Glidden, who was killed in a farm accident yesterday morning at the home of his son, George, three miles north and a mile and a half east of Lidderdale. Although arrangements have not been completed, rites are tentatively set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist church in Lanesboro. Burial will be in East Liberty cemetery.

Mr. Dewey was killed when his clothing caught in the tumbling rod of an elevator. The accident occurred about 9:30 yesterday morning.

Survivors include his wife, son, George, and a daughter, Mrs. Harry Armstrong, all of whom live within a mile of each other in the Lidderdale territory.
