March 18, 1935 - Carroll Times - Funeral services for John Byerly, 95 years old, who passed away at the home of his son, Delno Byerly, south of Ralston, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Scranton Huffman Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Biggerstaff of Coon Rapids. Interment was in the Dillavou cemetery.

He is survived by his two sons, Delno of Ralston and Clyde, of Scranton. John Byerly of Carroll, a grand nephew, also survives.
