April 6, 1946 - Carroll Times - Dr. William Edward Hart, 76, of Odebolt, who practiced medicine at Lanesboro for 18 years, died at 3:30 a.m. today at his home in Odebolt. The body is at the Olerich Funeral home. It will be returned to the Hart home at Odebolt at 5 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Catholic church in Odebolt and burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery in Carroll.

Survivors include the follow children: Mrs. John W. Bushnell (Frances), Sioux City; Edward and Elmo, Seattle, Wash.; Robert S., at home, and a stepson, Donald, who is attending McCormick Theological seminary, Chicago.

Dr. Hart leaves the following brothers and sisters: Joe, Sioux City; Vincent, San Francisco; Frank, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Lewis and Howard, Los Angeles, Calif.: Miss Mary, Miss Stacia, and Mrs. Henry G. Kranz (Ida), Santa Monica, Calif., besides his wife.

Dr. Hart lived for the past 25 years in Odebolt. He was a graduate of Illinois Medical college, a life member of the Iowa State Medical association, and a member of the Sac County Medical association. He retired five years ago because of ill health. He had been ill for nine years. He was located for five years at Westside before he moved to Lanesboro and from there to Odebolt.
