Aug 7, 1924 - Carroll Times - Bryan P. Kelly, an old resident of Carroll, died at his home on the south side on Thursday of last week. Decedent was born in Ireland 76 years ago but when a small boy came to America, locating in New Jersey. Later he came further west stopping at Dixon, Illinois, for a time, and at the age of 37 years he came to Carroll and this city was his home from that time until his death.

For a number of years Mr. Kelly was custodian of the county court house, but for the past few years, on account of his failing health, he had been retired.

Surviving are the wife and three sons and a daughter, viz: Thomas Kelly, of Council Bluffs; James, of Sioux City; Miles, P., of Washington, D.C.; and Miss Mary.

Two children, Anna and Edward preceded the father in death. The funeral took place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's church, of which the deceased was a devout member, conducted by Father Butler, and burial followed in the Catholic cemetery.
