Sept 13, 1967 - Carroll Daily Times - Mrs. Ethel Faith Bell, 70, of 1124 North Carroll Street, Carroll, died at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at St. Anthony Hospital after a long illness. Friends may call at the Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 2 p.m. Friday. Eastern Star memorial rites will be conducted by Signet Chapter No. 1 at the funeral home at 7:30 that evening. Further arrangements are pending, awaiting notification of a relative in Vietnam.

Mrs. Bell was the widow of Clifford Bell, who died Nov. 13, 1965. She was a lifelong resident, of Carroll County and had lived in Carroll since 1942, coming here from Coon Rapids. A daughter of James and Laura Schrieber Dankel, she was born March 22, 1897, at Glidden and received her education in the Glidden schools. She and Mr. Bell were married April 5, 1919 at Carroll.

She is survived by two sons, James Dean Bell of Greenville, Ala., and Jerry Bell of Carroll; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Betty) Robson of Grundy Center; eight grandchildren; two brothers, William Dankel of Lake View and Lyle of Eldora; one sister Mrs W.E. (Hazel) Jacobs of Minneapolis. Four brothers preceded her in death.
