FRANK, SIEVERS, MCLAUGHLIN, BREAKBILL, KERN

July 2, 1958 - Carroll Daily Times - William C. Frank, 62, died at his home, 727 North Adams Street, at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday after being in failing health for a few years. He had been critically ill the last few weeks. Funeral services will be at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Huffman Funeral Home and 11 o'clock at St Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Harold Kleck will officiate. Burial will be in the Carroll City cemetery.

Mr. Frank had lived in Carroll 13 years, he and Mrs. Frank having moved here from Chicago. Mrs. Frank is the former Mabel A. Sievers. A son of Charles and Mary McLaughlin Frank, he was born August 4, 1895, at Keokuk, Iowa. Mr. Frank served in World War 1 in France with the 54th Infantry and later with the 15th Squadron Observation Air Service. He was married to Mabel A. Sievers Sept, 8, 1934, in Waukegan, Illinois.

Surviving with his wife are one brother, James Frank, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Breakbill and Mrs. Madeline Kern, of Keokuk, nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death. Before coming to Carroll, Mr Frank was employed by the Cadillac Motor Car Division in Chicago. He worked for the Hannasch Motor Company here until he retired in July, 1955. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion.
