AGNES C. CAVANAUGH
Agnes C. Cavanaugh, 91, formerly of Coon Rapids, died Christmas morning at the Foley Rest Home on North Carroll Street, Carroll, where she had been a patient since Oct. 30, 1970. Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Annunciation Church, Coon Rapids, by the Rev. Edard Carpenter. Interment will be in the Coon Rapids Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., Tuesday. Miss Cavanaugh was born in Boone county, Aug. 14, 1881, a daugther of Michael and Elizabeth Williams Cavanaugh. She received her schooling at the American Training School of Nursing and also studied domestic science at Ames. A registered Nurse, she was employed for six years at Lewis Memorial Hospital in Chicago, and moved to Coon Raids in 1950. A nephew, James Cavanaugh of Carroll, survives. Preceding Miss Cavanaugh in death were five sisters, Susan Cavanaugh, Mrs. Alice Eggleston, Mrs. William Campbell, Margaret Cavanaugh and Mrs. Anna Ruddy; and six brothers, Ed, William, James, Charles, Frank and John Cavanaugh.
