OBITUARY OF SARAH J. (ROBINSON) KELLY

Mrs. S.J. Kelly Funeral Monday

Died at Home of daughter Mrs. Ira Toms May 13th; Resident here 54 years.
Mrs. Sarah J. Kelly, 74 died in the home of her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Toms, Saturday, May 13 after an illness of several months.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 in the Methodist church, Monday, conducted by Rev. G.C. Simcox, assisted by the local pastor, Rev. E.M. Buehler. Burial will be in the Dickson cemetery northeast of town.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Delaware county, New York Jan. 5, 1859. She was united in marriage to John S. Kelly in that county in 1880. They came to Carroll county 54 years ago and this has been their home since that time.

Eleven children were born to this union. Her husband and three children preceded her in death. The surviving children are Zera R., Walter J., William R., Mrs. Ira Toms and Mrs. James Dillavou, all of Glidden; Mrs. Cora Seigler of Manson, Mrs. Lizzie Hoople of Bruce, Wisc,; Mrs. Jack Kelly of Lady Smith, Wisc. Besides these children and other relatives, she leaves 41 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
