Death of Joe Stammeyer.

Joe Stammeyer died yesterday of pneumonia at the Hutter hotel, where he had been making his home for some time past. The deceased was thirty-nine years and had been a resident of Carroll for twenty-three years, being well known to many of our people. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at SS. Peter and Paul's church, the union fire department, of which he had been a member for many years, having charge of the funeral. The pall bearers will be John Wiedemeier, Jos. Rettenmaier, Joe Arts, Gus Vicarius, Peter Olbertz, Wm. Ludwig. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. P. J. Hamill and Miss Katie, and one brother, John Stammeyer, as his surviving relatives.
