James Fitzenry (sic), one of the old residents of the county, died at his home in the first ward last Friday and was buried Tuesday. He was a resident of Wheatland township for many years previous to moving to Carroll about nine years ago. His wife died not many months ago. Besides his daughter Lizzie who has cared for him till his death, he leaves four grown children.

James Fitzsenry of Carroll died June 1. The deceased was one of the first settlers in the northwest part of the county. He was a native of Ireland, coming to this country in 1854. His wife died a few months before, thus thinning the ranks of Carroll county's pioneers.
