Death of Mrs. Fitzsenry

Mrs. James Fitzsenry died at her home in this city Saturday night shortly after 12 o'clock. She had been ill for about a week, but was not considered dangerously so, the doctor having been at the house about 9 o'clock Saturday evening. She was resting quietly about midnight and Mr. Fitzsenry had just given her some medicine when she breathed her last. The funeral services will be held at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic church.

The deceased was born seventy-four years ago in County Cavan, Ireland. She came to America when a girl and was married in 1853 to James Fitzsenry. The young couple moved to the pineries of Wisconsin, where they resided for sixteen years. In 1873 they moved to Wheatland township on a farm, where they lived until about seven years ago they came to Carroll and became residents of the first ward. They have five children, three daughters and two sons. The daughters are: Miss Lizzie, who lives at home, Mrs. Anna Dunlavy of Oconto, Wis., Mrs. Kate McGrane, living west of Halbur. The sons are Mat and James, the former living at Telluride, Colo., and the latter in Crawford county, on the line of Wheatland township.

Mrs. Fitzsenry was a devout Christian woman, devoted to her family and her religion. After a long and useful life she sleeps the last long sleep of the good and true.
