Mrs. Jno. Coon

Mrs. John Coon died at her home, northwest of town, last Friday morning after several month's illness, aged 49 years. She had but recently been released from the hospital at Carroll and was supposed to be on the road to recovery, so that the news of her death came as a shock to her relatives and friends. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis O'Toole, and leaves besides her father, husband and son, nine brothers and one sister to mourn her early demise; her mother having died since the above was written. The funeral was held from the Catholic church at Mt. Carmel Monday and was largely attended. After a solemn requiem mass the remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery at that place. Six brothers of the deceased acted as pall bearers. The grief stricken relatives have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement. -- Breda Watchman.
