Final Rites For Mrs. Heinrichs To Be Thursday

Breda (THNS) -- Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard's church here for Mrs. Mary Heinrichs, 85, who died at St. Anthony hospital in Carroll early Monday afternoon. The Rev. Fr. E. L. Schleyer will offer the requiem mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

The body was returned this morning from the Olerich Funeral home in Carroll to the family home here, where the rosary will be prayed at 8 o'clock tonight and also Wednesday night.

Mrs. Heinrichs was born Mary Netten January 16, 1862, in Kleinglabach, Germany. She was one of eight children of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Netten.

She married Jacob Heinrichs October 3, 1885, in the town of her birth. In 1892 Mr. and Mrs. Heinrichs and three of their children who were born in Germany came to the United States. They located in Breda, where Mrs. Heinrichs lived for 54 years. Her husband, a cabinet maker and carpenter, died November 16, 1932.

Mrs. Heinrichs leaves three sons and one daughter: Leo, Henry and Joseph, Breda, and Mrs. Tony Coon (Minnie), Sac City. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Mrs. Ben Brinker (Josephine), and an infant son preceded her in death.

Mrs. Heinrichs was a member of St. Bernard's church and the Christian Mothers sodality of the parish.

She belonged to the Daily Times Herald Three Quarter Century club.

Her death, caused by arterio schlerosis, occurred at 12:48 p.m. yesterday at St. Anthony hospital after an illness extending back to June.
