Mrs. Francis (Marion) Clark, 57, of Carroll died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at St. Anthony Hospital, after being ill since Thursday.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Spirit Church, by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. W. Behrens of Templeton. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. The Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 3 p.m. Monday; the Catholic Daughters of America and Holy Spirit Women's Guild at 8 p.m.; and another rosary is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Clark was born Aug. 15, 1912, in Carroll County, a daughter of Otto and Bernadine Behrens. She received her education at Sacred Heart School, Templeton, and Thompson School of Cosmetology, Des Moines. For about ten years she operated Marion's Beauty Shop in Carroll. Her marriage to Mr. Clark took place at Sacred Heart Church, Templeton, on Feb. 11, 1947, with the late Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. H. Huesmann officiating. Since 1949 they have lived at 318 East Third Street. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church and Women's Guild, the Catholic Daughters of America, American Legion Auxiliary and the Legion of Mary.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Patricia, student at Northwest Missouri State College, Maryville; a son, Thomas, at home; her mother, Mrs. Otto Behrens of Carroll; three brothers, Cyril Behrens, Manning; Eugene Behrens, St. Louis, Mo., and Otis Behrens, Audobon; and a sister, Mrs. Gilbert (Bernadette) Peters, Manning.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers and a sister, Ed, Herbert and Loretta Behrens.
