Mrs. John Ramsey, who was buried at Dedham last Thursday, was a sister of Tom Wilson, now deceased, the first automobile mechanician of Manning. The following obituary is from Superior, Dickinson County, where she spent the last five years of her life.

Our community was shocked Sunday morning, March 7th, to learn of the death of Mrs. John Ramsey. How true, we know not the hour when God shall see fit to call us home.

**Note: Tom Wilson was actually a sister-in-law to Emma Wilson Ramsey. He was married to Jenny Gertrude Ramsey, sister of John Ramsey.

Mrs. Ramsey had attended to her home duties Saturday and had spent the evening reading and visiting with her family. When her husband called her on Sunday morning she did not answer, and when he went to her room found she had passed to her heavenly home. Although the sudden death is a shock to the family, there were no signs of suffering and it should be a comfort to them to know her last moments were free from pain.

Mrs. Ramsey was a devoted wife and mother. Her every thought was for the comfort of her family. No task was too greet or burden to heavy but she would do her best to make home pleasant for them. She was of a cheerful disposition; always had a cheering word and smile for all. She not only administered to her own family but was often found in the homes of others in sickness and sorrow.

She has gone, but the memory of her as a true mother, we trust will be an inspiration to those left to mourn her departure. In early life she united with Christian church and was a member at the time of her death.

Miss Emma Wilson was born January 19, 1870 in Carroll County. On January 10, 1893, she was united in marriage to John Ramsey. Nine children were born to this union. Mrs. Ramsey spent her life near Dedham, with the exception of four years in Kansas and the five years she has resided in this community.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Alta Andre, Mrs. Ruth Thompson, and Miss Vera Ramsey of Superior; Mrs. Vivian Denny, Alpha, Minn.; Mrs. Edith Lamack of Rock Falls, Ill. Four sons Paul of Spencer, S. Dak.; Lyle of Rock Falls, Ill., Lynn and Forest of Superior. Two sisters, Mrs. Dewitt of Dedham and Mrs. Weaver of Astor. Also five grandchildren.

Services were held at the M.E. church in Superior March 10th, conducted by Rev. Olmstead of the Christian church of Estherville. The body was shipped to Dedham where the funeral was held Thursday. Interment was in the Dedham cemetery.

The family wish to thank all friends who have in any way helped during their sorrow.
***Note: Tom Ramsey was a brother-in-law to Emmal Wilson Ramsey. He was married to Jenny Gertrude Ramsey, sister of John Ramsey.
