Mark G. Langlie. - age 62, of Pomeroy, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Mark Gene Langlie was born January 14, 1954 in Ellendale, Minnesota. He was the son of Eugene and Stella (Clemmensen) Langlie. Mark graduated from Ellendale High School in 1972 and then went on to St. Cloud Vocational Education Technical School, graduating in 1977. Mark did drafting work and also worked for the New Coop as a Grain Handler and Truck Driver. On, September 12, 1997, Mark married Gloria Gist in Rockwell City, Iowa. The couple settled in Pomeroy. Mark loved woodworking and hanging out with his friends and family. Survivors include his wife, Gloria of Pomeroy; daughter, Marissa Langlie of Arizona; step-sons, Chad (Kerri) Gist of Ankeny and Steven Nelson of Cedar Rapids; brother, Joel (Kelly) Langlie of Ellendale, Minnesota; sister, Jane (Richard) Tappe of New Richland, Minnesota and three nieces and one nephew.
