Judy Ann Bailey, age 68, of Pomeroy, Iowa, died on March 24, 2018 at Sunny Knoll Care Center in Rockwell City surrounded by her loving family.
Judith Ann Walton, the daughter of Boyd and Edna (Allen) Walton, was born on February 23, 1950 in Hartley, Iowa. Judy grew up in Everly, Iowa and was a graduate of Everly High School in 1968, where she was the valedictorian. She was united in marriage to Don Bailey on June 16, 1968 and they made their home in Pomeroy, Iowa. Their marriage of almost 50 years was blessed with three children: Bill, Bridget, and Brett. Judy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making crafts, collecting pigs and spending time with her family. Grateful for having shared her life are her family, which includes her husband, Don, and three children: Bill (Sheila) Bailey, Brandon and Ashlyn of Ankeny, Iowa; Bridget (Aaron) Brendel, AJ, Bailey, Megan, and Alyssa of Ramsey, Minnesota; and Brett Bailey and Heide of Pocahontas, Iowa; sister, Sharon Sawyer of Humboldt, Iowa, and many other extended family and friends.
