Lydia Ann Willcox was born in Jeauneau County, Wis., on April 25, 1858, the second daughter of Walter M. and Lucy Willcox. Her girlhood days were spent in Wisconsin and Illinois. On Jan 1, 1880, she was married to George Davis. The first year of their married life was spent in Indiana. Then they moved to Iowa in 1881, where they made their home on a farm near Lytton, moving into Lytton in 1915. To this union were born 10 children, Lizzie Bolton of Waterloo, George Davis of Garden City, S. D., Ruby Christensen of Rockwell City, Fannie Pohlman, Sarah, Charles, John and James all of Lytton. The husband and two daughters, Minnie King and Emma, preceded her in death. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and two sisters, Ursula Bancroft of Sac City and Sallie McClintock of Tabor, Ia., besides other relatives and friends to mourn. She was a member of the Presbyterian church here in Lytton and also a member of the local auxiliary and S. O. S. club. Out-of-town relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bancroft, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bancroft, all of Guthrie County, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bechler, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Bancroft and Minnie, Mr. and Mrs. Will Bancroft, Cecil Bancroft and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cole of Sac City, Mrs. Frank Daugherty, of Renville, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bolton, Velma and Leroy, Mr. and Mrs. Winifred Bolton of Waterloo, George Davis of Garden City, S.
