Philip Kutz, age 55 of Lohrville, IA, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Clarkson Tower at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Philip Edward Kutz was born on June 18, 1967, to parents Donald and Julianna (Prochaska) Kutz at Steward Memorial Hospital in Lake City, IA. He grew up in Clare, IA, and graduated from St. Edmonds High School in Fort Dodge, IA. After graduation, he enlisted to serve his country in the United States Navy. On July 25, 2015, Philip was united in marriage to Christine in Barnum, IA. Together they blended their families and were blessed with five children: Thomas, Michael, Makaleb, Michael, and Makenzey. Philip worked at the Chantlands Company in Humboldt, IA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapshooting and being outdoors. You could also find him playing cards and cribbage or watching football in his free time. Philip also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Christine Kutz of Lohrville, IA; children: Thomas (Victoria) Kutz of FL, Michael (Sarah) Kutz of FL, Makaleb (Mallory) Hanson of Lohrville, IA, Michael (Markie) Hanson of Waukee, IA, and Makenzey Hanson of Ames, IA; 14 grandchildren; parents Don and Julie Kutz of Clare, IA; siblings: David (Anjee) Kutz of Tiffin, IA, and Keith (Star) Kutz of Memphis, TN, Terry (Jana) Clark of Des Moines, IA; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
