Earl Lester Gross
(January 25, 1914 – February 26, 1937)Obituary
Earl Lester Gross was born at Gering, Neb., Jan. 25, 1914 and passed away at Fort Dodge, Feb 26, 1917 [1937], at the age of 23 years, one month and one day. He grew to manhood in Nebraska, graduating from high school at Maxwell, after which he attended business college for two years at Grand Island. On Oct. 16, 1934 he was married to Esther Lee Moore of Rockwell City, who was attending the college at Grand Island. They lived in Grand Island and North Platte, Neb., until July 1936, when they moved to Rockwell City. He is survived by his wife, Esther Lee Gross; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Drake of Maxwell, Neb; one brother, Ervin Goss, and two half-brothers. Also especially near to him were Mr. and Mrs. K. M.
