Alexzander Pope age 6 of Lohrville, IA, tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at his home. Alexzander was born on August 24, 2016, to parents Justin and Amanda Pope. Zander was the oldest of his two brothers and was a great big brother to them. He had just graduated from Kindergarten at South Central Calhoun and enjoyed being in school and learning.
Alexzander loved his hot wheels cars. His love of cars came from his dad and you could often find him helping his dad work on cars. He also enjoyed building with Legos, riding his bike, and going to church activities. He loved spending time with his cousins and being able to play with them. Zander’s special buddies were his aunt Allie and Memaw. He spent so much time with them. Alexzander will be remembered for his caring and playful personality. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Justin and Amanda Pope of Lohrville, IA; brothers: Blayne and Colt Pope of Lohrville; grandparents: Dora Pudenz of Lake City, IA, Cindy Wilson of Carroll, IA, John Pope of Deep River, IA; great-grandmother Beverly Lamberty of Manson, IA; aunts: Allison (Will) Daniel of Lake City, IA, Heather (Scott) Anderson of Manson, IA, and Terrena Borrego; uncles: Zach Wilson of Lake City, IA, and Chris Wilson of Lake City, IA; cousins: Zoie Daniel, Jersie Daniel, Blakelie Daniel, Melodie Daniel, Josh Borrego, Ayden Stork, Austin and Dausin Olberding, Jaydin, Caydin, Tysin, Raygin, and Kamdin Anderson; and several extended family members and friends.
