Charles Dalton O’Boyle
Charles Dalton O’Boyle of New York City, was born in Clare, Iowa, on June 29, 1909. He graduated from the high school in Canton, South Dakota in 1927, after which he spent about a year in Detroit, Michigan. From there he went to New York where he worked and studied for several months. He died March 6, 1930, Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O’Boyle of Canton, South Dakota; Mark and Alice of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Paul of Detroit, Michigan, and Florence of Fort Dodge. Funeral mass was in St. Mary’s church in Pomeroy, Rev. Father Neppel, officiating. Burial was in the Lizard cemetery. The pallbearers were Hubert Collins, Walter Dalton, Joe Foley, George Cole, Mark O’Boyle and Paul O’Boyle. Relatives from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Masterson, Moorhead, Minnesota; Mrs. Gaggin of Salem, Wisconsin, and Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Collins of Fort Dodge.
