She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ackers about 2 o’clock in the morning of February 16. She had reached the age of 76 years and 5 days. Mrs. Heide was an affectionate mother, a kind neighbor, and loved by all who knew her. She is survived by three daughters and one son: Mrs. William Ackers, Mrs. William Gertz, Fred Heide and Mrs. Albert Gerdes. Also by three step-sons and one step-daughter: Peter, Otto and John Heide of Pomeroy, and Mrs. Emil Marten of Fort Dodge. One brother, John Ulfred Dirks of Pocahontas; three sisters, Mrs. Altja Assing of Pomeroy, Mrs. Jurena Zeman and Mrs. Matje Dirks, of Palmer, 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren survive her. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon of last week in the Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. W. R.
