Lee D. Heath, 81, of Lake City died Sunday, September 19, 1976 at the Stewart Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 10:30 on Wednesday at the Huffman Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chris Nettles and Rev. Ted Dodd officiating. Burial was at the Lake Creek Cemetery near Rockwell City.

Lee DeLoss Heath, a son of Bian and Ada Chrisman Heath, was born on June 23, 1895 in Carroll County. His marriage to Pearl Amsden took place on August 15, 1917 at lake City. He was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver for 18 years and a resident of Lake City for 46 years.

Survivors are his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. Myrle DeSart of Lake City and Mrs. Richard Wineinger of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Frank of Lake City; one brother Earl* of Lake City; one sister, Mrs. Glen Bailey of Rockwell City; seven grand chirldren and four great-grand children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and three brothers.

Casket bearers were Lubbert DeVries, Jeff Staton, John DeVries, Herman DeVries, Martin DeVries and C. K. Ridgely.
