Larry Kelly
Lake City Graphic
Lake City, Iowa
November 30,1893

Died - Larry Kelly, an engineer on the C. & N. W. R'y, with headquarters at Lake City, died Inst Friday or erysipelas.

The deceased was a son of Martin Kelly, of Dubuque, Iowa. He was born in East Dubuque, Illinois, July 27, 1861, and was therefore 32 years, 3 months and 26 days old. He came west in 1884 and entered the employ of the C. N. W. railroad company, and has been constantly in its employ ever since. Only words of commendation, and regret at his early demise, are heard, and it is evident that his life was above reproach.

Of the Roman Catholic faith, the Rev. Father from Lohrville attended to the last functions of his early career.

He was sick only one short week, but his features were rendered almost unrecognizable by the inroads of that fatal disease, erysipelas.

Mr. Martin Kelly arrived at Lake City Saturday morning and the remains were conveyed to Sinsinawa Mound, Wis., where the last sad sites were performed, and all that was mortal of Larry Kelly was laid in its last resting place.
