LAKE CITY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Fergason, 75 , Lake City, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Karn Funeral Home, Lake City. Rev. Howard D. Prather, pastor of Woodlawn Christian Church, officiated. Mrs. Grace Fergason Dies At Lake City

Pallbearers were L. W. Sievert; Eugene Birchard, A. M. Lundberg, Irwin Johnston, Charles Fulkerson and Charles Snyder. Burial was at Gowrie.

Grace Babberl, daughter of Martin and Sara Chaney Babberl, was born Sept. 28, 1885, at Orthonville. In 1906 she was married to Herman D. Fergason at Gowrie. In 1909 they moved to Lake City, where Mrs. Fergason has made her home for the past 51 years, except for short periods of living with a sister and sons. Mr. Fergason had a draying business in Lake City for many years. They were the parents of three sons.

For a long time, Mrs. Fergason had suffered with arthritis and had been confined to her home and a wheel-chair a great deal. She had lived at Waters Nursing Home in Lake City for the past two years. She died at McCrary-Rost Hospital Dec. 14.

Her parents and three brothers preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Herman, who is confined to a nursing home in Manson; and by three sons, Marvin Fergason of Des Moines, Glenn Fergason of Clear Lake and James Fergason of Glendale, Ariz.; also two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There are also three surviving sisters, Mrs. P. F. Scott of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. G. C. Cunningham of Lohrville and Mrs. Lester Hay, Redfield; and one brother, Byron Babberl, Panora.
