Butler County history help needed

HULL, WHITNEY, WILCOX, MORGA

Our line has a mystery Butler County residence that I hope someone can help us with.

ORIN HULL died 1872 in St. Louis MO.His wife was back in Shellrock, Butler County having their one and only daughter. Orin HULL and AMANDA MELVINA MORGAN HULL had a daughter, LOVINNA O. HULL born on 12/31/1872. This would mean Orin Hull had never seen his daughter as he died in the same year she was born, and she was born on the last day of the year.

Question: Does Butler County have microfilmed papers back to 1872? Have been unable to find that Orin Hull was taken back to Butler County to be buried and can't find him in St. Louis either.

Question: Orin Hull was said to have been in the Civil War but I find no records of him anywhere. Do the Butler County Probate records go back to 1872?

Any help from the Butler County experts would be appreciated.
