SCHMITZ, PFALTZGRAFF, SCHNEBERGER

I am looking for any info on:
Ernest Hugo Schmitz who came to Chicago, Ill. from somewhere in Germany around 1857 (about 2 years old) who later married Magdelena Pfaltzgraff from Matteson, Ill. (whose father Fredrick Pfaltzgraff & mother Madleno Schneberger were both from somewhere in Germany).
Ernest & Magdelena had several children:
my grandfather (born in Dumont, Ia.) April 21,1891, Lloyd, Forrest, Flora (died at age 1 yr.), Flossy (died at age 11 yrs.) and Cora.
Magdelena Pfaltzgraff may have had a sister Elizabeth who married Ernest's brother Albert Schmitz and may have helped run a Pfaltzgraff business in Dumont, Iowa.
Ernest died in Mankato, Mn. on Jan. 31, 1915 and was buried in Dumont, Iowa. Magdelena died in Mason City, Iowa on June 16, 1936 but was buried in Dumont also.
